Dear Moon Area Families,
As we prepare for the upcoming 2025–2026 school year, we want to share several important updates regarding athletic programming:
1. Athletic Information Night – Wednesday, April 30th at 6:00 PM
Please join us in the Moon Area High School Auditorium for an Athletic Information Night. This event will include a presentation on eligibility requirements, athletic registration, and the role of student-athletes and families in supporting a positive athletic experience. We strongly encourage all student-athletes and families to attend.
2. Athletic Physicals – Tuesday, May 13, 2025
In partnership with AHN Sports Medicine, Moon Area will host athletic physicals for the 2025–2026 school year on Tuesday, May 13th.
Location: Moon Area High School Auxiliary Gym
Time: 6:00pm-9:00pm
Cost: $20 (cash or check made payable to AHN)
Important: All student-athletes must have a completed pre-participation physical dated on or after May 1, 2025 on file before participating on the first day of official practices/tryouts.

3. Athletic Registration – Opens May 1, 2025
Athletic registration for the 2025–2026 school year will open on May 1, 2025 through Student Central for all rising 7th–12th grade students. Students should register for all sports they intend to participate in during the upcoming school year.
