The Moon Area girls lacrosse team continued its impressive season with a commanding 8-3 victory over Shady Side Academy on Thursday night. With the win, the Lady Tigers improve to 9-2 overall and remain undefeated in section play at 5-0.

Avery Machusko led the offensive charge with a four-goal performance, consistently finding the back of the net and creating opportunities throughout the game. Scarlet Eubanks added two goals, while Gianna Deluca and Reese Keslar each chipped in with one to round out the scoring.

Moon jumped out to an early lead, netting three goals in the first quarter. The Tigers added one goal in each of the second and third quarters before closing strong with three goals in the fourth. Defensively, Moon held SSA to two goals in the second quarter and just one more in the final frame, showcasing a balanced and disciplined team effort.

The Lady Tigers will look to carry their momentum into the final stretch of the regular season as they aim to lock down a top playoff seed and a section title.
