Smarsh captures PIAA West Region Title; Sets sights on PIAA State Championships

Haley Smarsh continues capturing titles as she makes her run towards a PIAA State Girls Wrestling Championship appearance two years in a row. The dominant 130 pounder won the PIAA West Region Tournament by fall as she prepares for a run at a state title.
This marks her second consecutive PIAA West Region title to follow up her second consecutive WPIAL title.
Smarsh is the no.1. ranked WPIAL wrestler and no. 4 ranked PIAA wrestler in her weight class.
The PIAA State Championships begin on Thursday, March 6th in Hershey, PA.
